- Developing OSHA-compliant safety programs and training for public and private organizations.
- Developing, implementing, and auditing formal health & safety, environmental, and quality management systems according to the ISO 45001/14001/9001 standards.
- Investigating accidents and hazardous incidents to determine the root cause and recommending and monitoring corrective actions.
What or Who inspires you
Problem solving. The more complex the problem, the more inspired I get.
Most Meaningful Professional Achievement
Besides obtaining my CSP, it’s when workers are excited to see me. I often do audits and assessments, which can scare people. But when workers realize they can relax with me and that I am truly there to help, it makes me feel like I am making a difference.
Future Career Goal or Aspiration
To always keep learning new things. I am lucky to be in a career where I get to do this every day.
Go-to Comfort Food
Chili. It is quite underrated. My controversial opinion on chili is that it can really be made with anything your heart desires as long as it has protein, veggies, chili seasonings, and a tomato base.
Hobbies/Enjoy Doing Outside of Work
Home improvement, reading, and blacksmithing.
