Key responsibilities of your job

• Our parent company is called First Analytics. One of my key roles is to help implement our advanced analytics and AI solutions broadly, and in safety/EHS in particular.
• Develop new offerings, markets, and clients for our technology and services. For example, launching our new venture, Sentient Safety (sentientsafety.ai), which is a company created by our parent company, First Analytics.
• Co-manage our company’s operations and administration.

What or Who inspires you

Professionally: continually finding new and extremely challenging problems to solve, by applying advanced analytics with the support of a talented team.

Personally: Contribute in some meager way to the flourishing of members of my family, friends, and the communities I am a part of.

Most Meaningful Professional Achievement

Over the years, helping to build and grow highly skilled team at First Analytics which has a stellar reputation amongst our clients. Subsequently, pointing that team toward safety analytics issues and watching them come up with innovative solutions that work. Many of the things we do at First Analytics help companies make or save money. Our safety work, however, has, and continues to impact lives.

Future Career Goal or Aspiration

Start to “gear down” as I approach retirement in the coming years, but leave things in state that continues to sustain and grow the team I work with. Then transition to contributions I can make in society.
