What or Who inspires you

I’m a safety and health professional in the Midwest region with over 25 years of experience. Kind of fell into it and it became a passion. My experience has come with 2 industries, one in transportation and the other in in my current role in the food industry.

Both opportunities arose in my home state of IL and I’ve never watned to leave. I have advanced my career by making myself more valuable to my employer and finding ways to solve problems any way I can.

Most Meaningful Professional Achievement

Two achievements make me proud and always bring a smile to my face. One is the real-life bus simulator that I worked so hard to bring to the City of Peoria and the other is the reduction of OSHA injuries here at the Bolingbrook facility.

Future Career Goal or Aspiration

I would love to work with the US Dept. of Transportation investigation team one day but my time is running out. I would love to do this job as long as I can but I know one day I need to call it a day and look for retirement.

Hobbies/Enjoy Doing Outside of Work

I love fishing and enjoy the outdoors weather. From time to time, I go to the gun range to fine-tune my skills with my Kinberly 911 handgun.
