Workplace Safety law: Civil and Criminal Liability in Transition
April 17, 2026
11:00 am - 2:00 pm
This one-hour webinar, Workplace Safety Law: Civil and Criminal Liability in Transition, will examine key developments in workplace safety enforcement and the evolving legal risks facing employers. The session will explore OSHA liability and enforcement priorities, including anticipated regulatory and enforcement trends under the Trump Administration. Participants will also gain practical insight into managing OSHA inspections, understanding the legal implications of citations, and navigating complex responsibilities at multi-employer worksites where liability may extend across contractors and employers.
The program will also address how workplace incidents can lead to civil exposure and potential criminal enforcement, highlighting the circumstances that elevate safety violations into significant legal risk. Attendees will leave with practical guidance on responding to OSHA inspections, protecting employer rights, and managing safety programs in a way that reduces enforcement exposure. The session will also include time for participant questions to address real-world workplace safety scenarios and compliance challenges.
